About Art Literacy

The Art Literacy program at Lake Oswego Junior High School joins volunteers with teachers to teach hands-on art and art history in conjunction with the Social Studies curriculum. Five times a year, volunteer teams present an art lesson and project to the students in the Social Studies classes. A training meeting prepares the volunteers with the curriculum for the next lesson. The Art Literacy program is a great way for parents, students, and teachers to have fun and experience art!
